Long Description: If ever you were looking for a ride that captured the true essence of a road trip — a ride of many miles, with a vast enough variety of terrain, traffic, wind and weather to give you that sweet feeling of mojo, mastery and masochism that is the exclusive domain of long haul riders—then this is the ride for you. This one has it all: wild, rugged coastline; streaming rainforest and towering redwoods; windswept alpine heights; rolling hills covered with golden grass; and enough civilization to keep things interesting.
Anchoring the beginning, middle and end of this ride are some of the most lively, fun and motorcycle-friendly cities in the country. And in all those places in between, there's no shortage of the kinds of beautiful, sleepy, lost-in-the-mists-of-time small towns and villages that make riding the back roads worth every extra mile.
We are five minutes from Disneyland. All of our rentals and tours originate out of Southern California or Washington State, but we can make arrangements for you to drop-off the bikes anywhere in the country. We provide shuttle services from the Seattle Airport, Los Angeles Airpot, the Long Beach Airport, the Orange County Airport and the Ontario Airport. We have free storage facilities for your luggage if you will be traveling locally and we also operate chase vehicles that can deliver your luggage to destinations along your route.
We pledge to do everything possible to make sure that your motorcycle adventure is as good as it can be. In return, we ask for a commitment from you to take care of our rental equipment as if it was your own. We take great pride in offering you the very best bikes in the best condition. Policies: The Can-Am Spyder does not require a motorcycle endorsement. However, if you don’t have an endorsement, you are required to take a four-hour Spyder training class that includes two-hours of classroom instruction and two-hours of on-road training.
If you have a motorcycle endorsement, you must be at least 18 years old and have a minimum two years of riding experience. You will receive 20 minutes of instruction followed by a short introductory ride.
The Spyder is very easy to ride and is often used by members of your touring party that don’t have a motorcycle license, but want to participate in the tour group as a rider. Because it has three wheels, it is also suited to those whose legs don’t have the length or strength to hold up a motorcycle. The Spyder is very exhilarating to ride, but it does not drive or handle like a motorcycle. You don’t counter-steer to turn and the Spyder does not lean in corners. It is a very high performance road machine capable of owning most motorcycles in the twisties because it has more rubber on the ground for traction. It gets to 100 MPH in the blink of an eye.
The Spyder requires a $2,000 UDS security deposit on a a credit card.
The Yamaha Stratoliner requires a motorcycle endorsement and at least two years of riding experience. You must be at least 25 years old to rent the Stratoliner, but we do make exceptions for younger riders if you are renting with a group of older more experienced riders, if you are part of a Guided Tour or if you have a motorcycle endorsement from France, Germany or Japan.
This bike has excellent passenger accommodations and is one of only two models we recommend for long distance two-up riding. Ridden conservatively, you get over 150 miles to a tank.
The Stratoliner is widely considered the best heavy cruiser on the market.
The Stratoliner requires a $2,000 USD security deposit on a credit card.
The BMW K1200LT requires a motorcycle endorsement and at least ten years of riding experience. You must be at least 35 years old to rent the LT. We will make exceptions for younger riders if you can show that you currently own a similar size motorcycle or if you have a motorcycle endorsement from France, Germany or Japan. This bike is not for beginners.
This bike has the best passenger accommodations of any motorcycle. After riding on this, your lady will never go back to anything else. She has her own heat controls for her seat and backrest along with separate controls for the stereo and CD-changer.
Widely considered the best luxury touring bike on the market, the LT is the best handling, fastest, most comfortable touring bike with the best brakes. For long distance two-up riding, there is nothing better.
The LT requires a $2,500 USD security deposit on a credit card.
The Kawasaki GTR (Concours 14) requires a motorcycle endorsement and at least fifteen years of riding experience. You must be at least 35 years old to rent the GTR. We will make exceptions for younger riders if you can show that you currently own a similar motorcycle or if you have a motorcycle endorsement from France, Germany or Japan. This bike is not for beginners.
The GTR requires a $2,500 USD security deposit on a credit card.
The BMW K1200S requires a motorcycle endorsement and at least fifteen years of riding experience. You must be at least 35 years old to rent the K1200S. We will make exceptions for younger riders if you can show that you currently own a high performance sport-bike or if you have a motorcycle endorsement from France, Germany or Japan.. This bike is not for beginners.
The K1200S requires a $3,000 USD security deposit on a credit card. |
