Long Description: *Tom Oerman has been ballooning since April of 1970, competing in major balloon races in the U.S. and abroad. In 1973, Oerman established a World Record for Duration in an AX-6 balloon (nine hours and thirty-six minutes). He was one of four U.S. pilots to compete in the First World Hot Air Balloon Championship Races in Alburquerque in 1973. Tom also has an extensive resume' flying corporate balloons, including the first commercially successful, special-shaped balloon: The Orville Redenbacher's Gourmet Popping Corn Balloon (dubbed the "Flying Kernel"), was shaped like a giant piece of popped corn!
Tom's experience and skills will assure you of a safe, enjoyable and exciting journey over the beautiful rolling hills and valleys of Hunterdon county, New Jersey.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION:
*If you're afraid of heights, don't feel alone. Everyone is afraid of falling but you won't have that feeling in the balloon, thank goodness!
It's also nice to know the balloon above the basket is like a parachute; only we inflate it on the ground and know it works before we go up!
*We fly any day of the week, year around, weather permitting. Flights are early morning near sunrise or a few hours before sunset. These are the only times we can expect light winds and stable air most favorable for ballooning.
*Flight time is about an hour and it will take about two plus hours from the time you arrive at our launch site until we bring you back.
*It is actually warmer in the balloon than on the ground because: We are moving with the wind so there is no wind chill; we get some radiant heat from the burners above; and we don't go to altitudes where it is cold. Cool days and summer mornings are very enjoyable times to fly!
*After the flight, it is traditional to share champagne with landowners and passengers. We also offer "Pretend Champagne" for children and those who don't imbibe.

Extra Price Information: *Our primary balloon is six passenger (It's BIG!). An Exclusive Flight for Two is $250 per person and ideal for the Engagement, allowing ample room for not only you, your sweetheart and the pilot but a photographer-crewperson, who will take pictures and handle the Exclusive, On-board Champagne Celebration!
*Four or more in your group?Have a Private Party Flight for $170 per person.
*Fly with others? Take a More Fun With Others Flight for only $185 per person.
*Corporate Groups and Remote Location Flights are also available. Contact us for details.
Deposits: *A $50 per person deposit (non-refundable)is required to book a date and the balance due on flight day.
*Personized gift certificates are available for no extra cost. (Remember the Holidays, Anniversaries and Birthdays).
*We accept American Express, MasterCard and Visa.
Cancellations: *Cancellations are accepted with at least 48 hours notification prior to the scheduled flight.
*Reservation and gift certificates payments are non-refundable but a flight may be rescheduled within twenty-four months of issue. |

Policies: *RESERVATIONS are required. Call for an appointment as soon as you have a date in mind. Remember, weekend evenings go first.
*WEATHER: Ballooning is extremely weather sensitive. If inclimate conditions prevent a flight, we simply reschedule. |
