Gift Certificates: Are valid for one year from date of purchase and are transferrable but non-refundable.
Scheduling: Due to the popularity of our Flights, we suggest that reservations be made well in advance.
Deposits: Deposits are Not required.
Cancellations: If you need to cancel, you must notify our office at least seven days prior to your scheduled flight or full charges will be assessed. |

Policies: Time
Due to climate conditions in the Front Range area of the Rocky Mountains, we can safely fly only in the early morning hours. Our launch times vary through the seasons -- call ahead for exact meeting time.
WEATHER -- High winds, rain or falling snow prevent us from flying. Please call us the evening prior to your scheduled flight for current weather conditions.
RESCHEDULING -- Should your scheduled flight be cancelled due to inclement weather, we will reschedule your flight for the next available flight date.
Participation
We encourage our passengers to participate in both the inflation and deflation of the balloon. We have found it adds greatly to the fun of the entire ballooning experience.
Post Flight
Upon returning to the launch site, each passenger will receive complimentary champagne (adults only), a deluxe continental breakfast, an official Fair Winds T-shirt and a personalized flight certificate with photo.
Pilots
All of our pilots are FAA certified commercial hot air balloon pilots and flight instructors with impeccable safety records.
Insurance
Although we are fully insured, a signed waiver is required from each passenger to fulfill our insurance requirements.
Transportation
We have enough room in our chase vehicles to transport our crew and passengers. Family members and friends are welcome to come and watch the festivities, but they must provide their own transportation.
Attire
Casual and comfortable - sneakers or low-heeled shoes. Because of Colorado's varying temperatures, we suggest dressing in layers. For winter flights, we strongly suggest warm, dry footwear.
Cameras
Don't forget them! Bring plenty of extra film.
Smoking
Both for safety reasons and in consideration of other passengers, we request that there be no smoking in or around the balloon or any of the other motorized equipment. |
