Long Description: Capt. Barry Hoffman specializes in sight fishing for bonefish, tarpon, permit and redfish in the Florida Keys. Fly fishing or light tackle gear is most commonly used. Sight fishing the flats and backcountry islands of Biscayne Bay, Florida Bay, the Everglades and the Upper Keys - Key Largo and Islamorada.

Price: multiple rates
Extra Price Information: What does it cost?
Full day $400 (eight hours of fishing) Three Quarter day $350 (six hours of fishing) Half day $300 (four hours of fishing) Split Trip (best for the hot summer) fish 7am-11am break for lunch, back on the water 5pm-9pm (8 hours total) $500.00 Tarpon Trip Evening & early morning tarpon trips are $325. (4 hours April, May and June) Rates are for two anglers fishing. If you have to fish a third person (not recommended if fly fishing or sight fishing for bonefish, tarpon or redfish) a charge of $75 is added to the above rates.
Deposits: I will require a $100 deposit for each day chartered. Call me at 305-852-6918, let me know the day(s) you would like to fish, and I'll hold the day(s) for one week. While on the phone I'll give you an address to send the deposit to. Personal checks, cashiers and travelers checks are fine. Unfortunately I do not have the capability to accept credit cards. Upon receiving your deposit, I will forward a confirmation letter to you.
Cancellations: What is your cancellation policy, Do I get my deposit back?
This is my only occupation, and I am not extraordinarily wealthy, although I hope to be some day ;) A deposit ensures I will be gainfully employed that day. My policy is: All deposits received are held if scheduled trip is canceled with less than a 30 day notice. Deposits for charters that are canceled in excess of 30 days will be credited toward a trip within one year from original departure date.
What if the weather is bad? What is your refund policy then?
If the weather is dangerous, I would gladly refund your deposit to you. I don't care to be out in that stuff myself and am looking forward to a lengthy stay here on earth. You can expect a breeze here of 15 mph. Most of the locations I fish are protected and sheltered from the rough seas even if it blows 20 or more.
