Short Description: Catch 'Em All with Capt. Jeff Shelar
Long Description: Fishing all over the world and perfecting the saltwater techniques needed to be a top fishing guide in the world as well as in the Florida Keys has been one of Capt. Jeff's life dreams since he was a boy. He started his career in Marathon, which is located right in the middle of the Florida Keys, halfway between Key Largo and Key West. Wanting to learn all aspects of fishing, from snapper fishing to marlin fishing, his fishing career took him to places such as Costa Rica, all over Central America, and too many places to name in the Baja and mainland Mexico. He has now been back fishing in the fertile waters off of Marathon for the past several years. Let Capt. Jeff help you to catch your fish of a lifetime in the heart of the Florida Keys!
Testimonials: Hello Jeff, this is Ed Clark, Sr and I wanted to thank you for one of the best fishing trips I have ever been on - that was a fantastic fishing trip to say the least!! Were going to have a fish fry this Saturday at Darrell's place and just wanted to let you know you will be in our talks about fishing for "Mahi-Mahi" as our time with you was just GREAT!!! I laughed so much that day, as you were trying to get Darrell into the fine art of working the rod and reel in retrieving a fish - especially the tuna battle he had, as we were all cheering him on, and he was so dilligently lifting the rod towards his back, then letting the pole fall towards the water extremely fast, to begin the reeling phase and taking up the slack line in the process!! Ha! Ha! I about freaked out when the "Rats Nest" erupted, as Darrell let the freespooling reel do it's thing, while at the same time Eddie my son is trying to assist him in using the thumb to control this tangled mess from erupting before Darrell's shocked eye's!! You did a fantastic job Jeff, I still chuckle over the things that happened, and you know, you could write a best seller book just explaining the things that happen using a comedy theme to bring forth laughter that has happened on your trips, because if anyone has ever been fishing before, you would probably have some of the best story's anyone could describe!! I know I enjoyed the trip, and I just wanted to let you know that fishing with you was the greatest fishing trip I have ever been on - again, thanks, and hope you have a great weekend during the 4th!! Take care & God Bless!! Ed Clark, Sr |
